Dark, dramatic makeup is the one fall trend it took me a long time to warm up to. It always felt just a little too bold and complicated.
Figuring out how to wear dark purple makeup or icy silver eyeshadow was a big part of my hesitation, too. But I’ve come to think of fall and winter makeup as a general aesthetic or framework, with some commonalities across the diverse iterations.
