We tend to think of winter as “bulky layer season,” and may look forward to the feeling of being cozy and warm.
But for those who either need or prefer a chic alternative to boring sweaters, here are a few suggestions for winter outfits that will keep you from living in bulky layers.
1. Gold Sequin Skirt + Grey Sweater Outfit

And just like that, you have an instant Christmas party look ready to go.

Ugg boots are a triple threat: they’re comfy, stylish, and most importantly, so warm. Styling them is a total breeze, too.
You really can’t go wrong with a classic sweater, jeans, and Uggs. It’s a foolproof combination, for sure.
3. Winter Pastel Outfit
Here’s my best advice for staying warm. When the days are cold and grey, reach for some bright pastel colors.
