Halloween is my absolute favorite season for getting creative with makeup, and what’s spookier than spiders? Whether you want a full-on horrifying illusion or just a touch of glam with a creepy-crawly twist, there’s a look for you.
I’ve rounded up some of my personal favorites that are perfect for any party.
1. Spider Illusion on Eyes and Lips

Are you a fan of the super scary illusions? If so, you have to check this out. Here we have a spider leg illusion that also makes it seem like a spider is in her mouth.
The look is taken to the next level with black contact lenses. It’s such a spooky vibe and it’s absolutely perfect for anyone who really wants to give people a scare.
You could recreate both of the illusions, or I think just the eyes would be insanely cool on their own.
2. Glam Eye Makeup with Tiny Spiders

Instead of going for one giant spider like you see in some other makeup looks, you could totally play with a tiny spider design. Here is a really cool idea.
For this look, the artist created some glam eye makeup with a delicate white web design. She also painted tiny little spiders all around her eye. I think this is such a unique, glitzy, and fun makeup concept.
You could even add one big spider somewhere else on your face to make it look like the intimidating mommy spider. No matter what you choose, your makeup will look spooky and one-of-a-kind.
3. Glamorous 3D Spider Makeup

Next up, we have another glam makeup idea that I’m loving. This time, the artist has created a beautiful black eyeshadow blend paired with matte nude lips.
She finished off the look with some 3D spiders on her face and a gorgeous crown. This is such a fun and unique concept for Halloween. I am so obsessed with this one.
You could recreate this exactly or maybe try a red lip color instead.
4. Spider Queen Costume Idea

You can look like a total Queen this Halloween with makeup like this. For this particular look, the artist used dark eye makeup and a red lip color.
She also created the illusion that the spider on her face has just bitten her. I love the white contact lens; it makes the whole thing look so realistic. The entire look is pulled together with a crown and a spider web to really show that she is the Spider Queen.
5. Stunning and Scary Makeup for Halloween

Up next is another makeup look that is both stunning and scary. For this one, the artist went with a bold black eye makeup and a rich red lip color.
The look is completed with some spider illusions and a few rhinestones. It is such a unique and amazing makeup idea. This is another one of those concepts that gives you the best of both worlds.
6. Spider Eye Makeup for Halloween

Instead of focusing on the mouth, you could create a spider illusion centered around your eye, and here is a seriously cool way to do it.
As you can see, she has a dark brown and black blend on her eyelid, and she’s painted spider legs around it. When she closes her eye, it creates the illusion that there’s a spider there instead of an eye.

7. Easy Spider Makeup Idea

The next makeup idea is an absolute must for those who are fans of classic Halloween designs. This makeup artist has created a spider and web design, finished with a purple lip color and orange eye makeup.
It uses all those classic Halloween colors and motifs. Something like this is so easy to wear, making it perfect for pretty much any Halloween event.

The last makeup idea I have for you features a design inspired by Black Widow spiders. Her eyes and lips are a deep black color, and she has spider leg illusions plus one large Black Widow spider on her face.

First on my list is this totally scary mouth illusion. The makeup artist kept her overall makeup pretty simple, but her mouth looks as though there is a spider sitting right in it.
That is such a horrifying thought, and the legs even look like they are poking out. This will definitely give anyone who is scared of spiders a major fright.

Next up, I have a makeup idea that manages to make you look pretty but also kind of scary.
As you can see, the artist has created some beautiful eye and lip makeup that you would normally wear for a night out, but she’s added a spooktacular twist. She has painted spiders on her body and face, and she has also used two of the illusions.
This is an awesome concept, and it lets you have the best of both worlds.
16. Super Cool Mask Illusion

This next idea is another one of my absolute favorites! Here we have a mask illusion. The makeup artist has made her face look like it’s a mask with a cobweb design on the eyes, and there’s a spider there too.

17. Black and Neon Orange Makeup

The next makeup idea uses some more really cool illusions. One eye has a black and neon orange web design, while the other eye features the spider leg illusion.
The artist has also painted a spider on her mouth, which looks super creepy. This is a stylish and scary makeup look, and I am obsessed with the neon orange and black color combination.

This next idea is another one of my favorites because it has the classic spider design, but she also looks like a regal vampire. It’s a makeup look that you can easily pair with a few different costumes.
You could pair it with fangs and you have a vampire, or maybe wear a witch’s hat or a crown. It’s totally up to you.
20. Black and Purple Makeup with White Contacts

If you want to go all out and really give people a fright, then you could try something like this.
The makeup artist has contoured certain areas of her face with purple makeup, and she has also created three separate spider illusions.
There is one on her eye, one on her mouth, and the other on her body. This is such a scary idea, especially when paired with the white contacts. She looks like a ghost covered in spiders!
21. Amazing Spider Illusion

Are you looking for a totally unique spider illusion? If so, this is perfect for you. Here we have some smokey eye makeup. Below one eye, there is a black section with a white web.
But the other eye has an illusion that makes it look like the spider is dangling from a web inside her eye. It’s a seriously scary look, and it will definitely give anyone with a fear of spiders a fright!
22. Colorful Spider Legs

Do you like the spider leg design? If so, you really need to check this out. One eye has a classic black spider design, while the other features colorful legs.
This is such a unique and fun idea. You could recreate this, or you could use colorful legs on both of your eyes. You could even paint colorful spiders on other parts of your body.
23. Horrifying Spider Illusions

This next idea is one of my personal favorites because it is so horrifying and clever! The makeup artist has created spider illusions on both her eye and her mouth.
It seriously looks like spiders have completely taken over. The black contacts look amazing because one eye looks just like a spider, while the other one looks super creepy.
It’s a pretty simple look, but it is so effective. I just love this.
24. Green Makeup with Spider Eyes

The next idea on my list is another spooky look. For this one, the makeup artist used green makeup on her face, which she paired with spider illusion eyes and black lips.
I love this because it has that classic Halloween witch vibe, but with the new illusion techniques mixed in. You could try something similar, or you could just put the illusion on one eye.
25. Bold Makeup Idea for Halloween

You can also put the spider leg illusion on both of your eyes, and here is a really cool way to do it. As you can see, the artist has created black and white spider legs with some bright orange eye makeup.
