Maybe it’s a wedding. Or a birthday party. Or a casual barbecue with your best friends.
The invitation arrives, and if you’re like me, the feeling of anticipation is mixed with dread, as the idea of having to come up with a new makeup look makes you break out in hives.
So I’ve come up with some easy makeup ideas that can pass muster, but won’t require a professional makeup artist.
1. Blue Eyeliner

If you want a look that feels both funky and sexy, you have to try this. I’m talking about an electric blue eyeliner that gives off this amazing retro vibe.
It’s such a fun way to add a pop of color that will get you noticed all day and night. Trust me, this look is a total showstopper.

5. Simple & Easy

This look is so simple and easy, which is why I know I’ll be wearing it on repeat. Bright eyeshadows are a definite must have for summer because they make your eyes look so open and have a fun, summery feel.
Just apply a golden shade to your eyelids and along the lower lash line. For a little something extra, you can add a touch of a lighter gold or even a white shadow to the corner of your eye.
If you tend to stick to darker colors, you should totally give this a try!
6. Dark Gold Eyes + Bright Orange Lips

Pairing a dark gold eyeshadow with a bright lipstick is always such a good idea. Orange is such a warm color, and I feel like it gives your skin an instant summer glow before you even leave the house.
A bright orange lipstick with dark golden eyes is a look I am definitely trying for my next party.
7. Brown and Green Smokey Eyes
Are you feeling earthy tones? Because I definitely am. Brown and green eyeshadows look amazing with any eye color, but they really make green eyes pop.
These two colors are so earthy and will make you stand out. For another party, you could even switch it up so the green is on the eyelids and the brown is under the waterline.
Either way, it’s going to look great.
8. Gold Glitter Eyeliner
